At an altitude of 1,921 meters, in the municipality of Filandia in the department of Quindío. We start the route heading along the Quindío road towards La Soledad, where the Quimbaya’s treasure was found. We continue 1.6 km from Filandia until the detour to the Camino del Quindío which we will travel until we reach La Soledad. During the tour we can also see coffee plantations, one of the most representative products of our region. The route along the Quindío Road is adorned by various types of flowers that highlight the beauty of the coffee cultural landscape.

Canaan is a tour designed for the more experienced. However, the requirement of this ride does not hide the beauty of the surrounding scenery.Coffee plants, fruit trees, plantain and numerous varieties of flowers join us throughout the route. Connect with nature after a short walk trhough the forest to end with a pleasant river bath and a picnic for energy recovery.

Coffee Experience Bike Tour

This tour full of history, adventure and lots of coffee, starts from Salento, a controlled descent for admiring the awesome views of coffee plantations and mountains full of different fruit trees and flowers, all to our delight. We follow the course of the ancient line from the railroad to the farm “El Jazmin”. We will be welcomed with a drink to begin the tour at the coffee farm and learn about the transformation of coffee since its inception up to the pleasure of the flavours in the mouth. We access the old tunnel used to scape on the times of the violence in Colombia.
