Cocora Valley Tour, 5 km Loop

On this hike we will enjoy a quite tour and the amazing views. We take the short loop where we can learn about different plants and their alternative uses, to learn about the wax palms and their interesting historical and natural context, always sharing the knowledge about the indigenous culture and their way of living on the area.

Cocora Valley Tour, 10 km Loop

You will be impressed once we get into the forest, surrounded by nature and the birdsongs. We will walk along the river while learning about the different ecosystems, the native culture culture and the whole history of the place. In the end we will get prize with the magnificent views of the wax palms, the tallest palms in the world and the national tree of Colombia.

Cocora Valley & Coffee Tour

Starting with the amazing and unique landscape of the Cocora Valley, getting along the wax palm fields and the viewpoints. A short hike for 5km to then continue to the coffee plantations to learn and taste the best coffee and know more about the Colombian Cultural Coffee Landscape which is not only coffee but history, customs, culture and feelings. A 5km hike in Cocora.

Hike to the waterfall

A day to enjoy the nature around, a good cold water bath in the waterfall and learning a lot about nature and this historical place. We start in Salento going down to a little village where used to be the station for the train. We continue to the farm and take the pathway for the waterfalls and the natural pools, crossing the old train tunnel to start our way back.
